Background

Pure machine-made sand is used on site, and the stones are single-grade mixed, and the water demand of cement is relatively high. The construction requires the concrete state to be more than 1 hour, but when the actual trial mixing is carried out, the concrete has been completely lost within 5 minutes of being out of the pot.

Abnormal loss of concrete is a very challenging technical problem in the field of civil engineering. It needs to be considered from many aspects, such as whether the composition of cement does not meet the regulations, resulting in excessive hydration of cement. And whether the content of light substances in sand and gravel is too high, and whether the mud content is too large, resulting in excessive adsorption of additives.

Solution from ARIT

ARIT first adapted through the conventional formula and found abnormal loss of concrete. Then through the cement and cement with fly ash paste test to determine whether it is caused by cement problems. Through the test, it is determined that the abnormal cement results in excessive loss of concrete. For this reason, the problem of abnormal loss of concrete can be solved by adding acidic substances to delay the hydration time of cement and increasing the content of slump retaining agent.
