Yongguang Railway
The Yongguang Railway is a railway project located in the central-northern part of the Yunnan Plateau of China, running nearly with a total length of 127.232 kilometers. It is a key cooperation project between the state and Yunnan Province. After the railway is upgraded, it will only take one and a half hours to travel from Kunming to Yongren County at the Sichuan-Yunnan border. This is of great significance for promoting economic and social development along the line.
Past high dosage of 8%-9%, and there is a serious issue with the sedimentation of the admixture. The rebound during the shotcrete construction is significant, and there is an irritating odor after the shotcrete construction. The strength of the core samples taken is not up to standard, with the 1-day strength only being 6.7 MPa, which does not meet the engineering requirements of being greater than 10 MPa.
Using ART-SL15, compatibility tests were conducted with the cement on site, and the dosage of the flash setting admixture was determined to be 4%-5%. Additionally, due to the reduction in rebound, the construction progress was accelerated, and the engineering bureau was very satisfied.

Shenzhen-Maoming Railway
The Shenzhen-Maoming Railway is a railway within Guangdong Province, China, connecting Shenzhen City and Maoming City. It is an important part of the "Coastal Corridor," one of the main channels in China's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed railway network. After the opening of the Shenzhen-Maoming Railway, the travel time from Maoming to Guangzhou was significantly reduced. The fastest train journey time from Maoming to Guangzhou was shortened from 4 hours and 53 minutes to 2 hours and 15 minutes. The operation of the Shenzhen-Maoming Railway is of great significance for social and economic connections with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The alkaline liquid flash setting admixture used on site has several major issues: a high dosage, poor setting effect, a rebound rate as high as 30%-40%, and serious burns to the human body caused by the alkaline. Additionally, there is a significant amount of sedimentation, with one-third of each barrel of agent being sediment.
