In late October, 2024, representatives from SNF France participated in a week-long "Concrete Admixture Basic Application Skills Training" hosted by the ARIT Future Materials Engineering Technology Research Institute.
Founded in 1978, SNF is currently the world's largest producer of oilfield and water treatment flocculants, with production bases mainly located in France, China, the United States, and South Korea. China SNF Professional Chemicals headquarter is located in Beijing, with offices in Shanghai and Guangzhou.
This training aimed to enhance participants' professional knowledge and application abilities in the field of concrete and admixtures through a close integration of theoretical learning and practical operations.
The training covered a range of topics from the basics of concrete raw materials and admixtures to the standards for testing methods of admixture. The theoretical part was presented in a way that was easy to understand yet profound, laying a solid foundation for the participants.
(The lecturer gave an explanation of the theories)
The practical part focused more on the cultivation of skills, including some indicator testing and concrete testing operations, enabling participants to transform theoretical knowledge into practical operational skills.
(The staff conducted a demonstration)
(The trainee performed the operation)
This training also included a special visit section, organizing participants to visit local concrete mixing plants and the construction site of high-speed rail projects for learning and communication. This activity not only deepened the participants' understanding of the training content, but also allowed them to observe and learn advanced engineering techniques and management models up close.
(International business general manager hosted the graduation ceremony)
(The Dean of ARIT Future Materials Engineering Technology Research Institute made a training summary)
(Participant Summary)
(Issuance of Completion Certificates)
The visit of SNF France to ARIT for learning and communication not only highlights their high regard to concrete and admixture technology, but also reflects their recognition of the professional strength of ARIT Future Materials Engineering Technology Research Institute. This cross-border learning and communication activity will promote the mutual progress and development of both parties in the field of concrete and admixture technology. ARIT is deeply honored by the visit of SNF and looks forward to more cooperation and communication in the future!
