Hong Kong Children’s Hospital Wins the Green Building Award 2016

Hong Kong Children’s Hospital, undertaken by CSCEC and Shui On Construction Co., Ltd., won the Merit Award for the New Building Category of the Green Building Awards 2016. 


The Biennale Green Building Award is jointly organized by Hong Kong Green Council (HKGBC) and the Professional Green Building Council (PGBC), and aims to provide recognition to building-related projects with outstanding performance and contributions in sustainability and the built environment. 


Covering a total floor area of about 150,000 square meters in Kowloon of Hong Kong, the hospital includes two separate buildings with 11 floors, atrium, basement and other facilities, and is equipped with 468 beds. Once completed, it will become the first specialized hospital for children in Hong Kong and one of the most advanced children’s hospital in Asia.
